Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then, she joined WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. It was reported that the Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell by awarding her the Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative journalist. Then she became a part of Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. O'Dell's current role as host of Access Hollywood is complemented by her contributions to NBC News Today, Dateline NBC, and NBC News. She's reported on major the events such as The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted the Pre ShowArrivals Shows at The Emmys.
